We lost Leroy on January 25, 2011 to an impaction colic. He was the first pony with the
Plattes prefix to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He earned his Foundation Halter
Hall of Fame in 2009. Leroy was Kyla's special pony and many will remember her
showing him in halter and costume. Abby also showed him in the in-hand performance
classes and driving. Leroy was a true all around gelding with an incredible work ethic.
He is missed and the farm just doesn't seem the same without him "helping" with
chores.
