Vegas is the last daughter of H.V. "King of All" and we are very pleased to have her as part of our herd. Vegas is the only Lou-Ed mare that we've owned with a show record from her youth. She was shown in halter and as part of Rhapsody Sheltands "Herd" entry when the Classic Congress was held in Mason City, Iowa. Vegas had a filly sired by Willowlawn's Mr. Unique May 4, 2008.
Vegas is exposed back to Willowlawn's Mr. Unique for 2009.
Hope of Valhalla's Foaled: 5/31/02 Color: Flaxen Chestnut Reg: ASPC 151789A - Foundation Certified Sire: Kahle's Fortune and Fame Dam: Scotch Pride's Blaze of Gooselanding Height: 43 inches
Hope is a lovely flaxen chestnut minimal Splash White mare with one blue eye and one hazel eye. She joined the Platte Ridge herd in 2004 and fast became a favorite. Hope has beautiful movement and she loves to show it off out in the pasture. She is one of those ponies that watches everything that goes on around her and is incredibly curious.
We were very priviledged in 2005 to be able to breed Hope to the great senior herdsire of Royal Pony Farm - Royal Red Viking. Hope foaled a beautiful colt in 2006 that we have retained as a future herdsire Her 2007 filly sired by Unique was exported to Germany. In 2008 Hope produced a beautiful black pinto filly sired by Wauk-A-Way Brave Bear that we are retaining as a future broodmare.
Hope was left open for 2009. Since we have retained two of Hope's 3 foals for our breeding herd we would consider selling Hope to an approved home.
We are ecstatic to announce that Eve will soon be returning to Platte Ridge Farm! We would like to thank Donna Pettyjohn for allowing us to have the opportunity to repurchase this beautiful young mare. Eve had a beautiful bay tovero filly sired by War Whoop's Little Prince on May 13, 2008. She was left open for 2009.
Thank you to Rosvold Farms for allowing Praise to join our herd! She had a gorgeous filly sired by Unique in 2008 and will be bred back to him for a 2010 foal. This picture doesn't do her gorgeous neck and head justice but since her filly had just been weaned she wasn't very cooperative!
Praise is For Sale - see our sale page for more information. Rare opportunity to own a mare who is 100% Winks breeding!
